This extension ensures that the brand remains the title sponsor of six premier racing events conducted across premier courses in the UK making it a more influential force in British racing.
The first of these events will be the Virgin Bet Sun Chariot Day at Newmarket Racecourse on October the 5th, then the famous Halloween Sunday at Aintree. The sponsorship will also include race days at Sandown and at least three big-prized events at Kempton Park, keeping Virgin Bet out in the open all year round. As these events are aired on ITV and Racing TV, the partnership will ensure a good number of people will see the brand.
As well as increasing its sponsorship of racing, Virgin Bet is also improving the measures to underpin the safety of racegoers by deploying its Personal Safety Partner/ WalkSafe at the event. At the same time, Daniel Glavin from The Jockey Club welcomed the conceived idea and noted that the inclusion of WalkSafe is part of virgin bet’s attempts to make racecourses safer for one and all.
